Committed to Texas

The Seaton Foundation is committed to making a positive impact on the current state of long-term care in Texas. We strive to educate and train Texas citizens in how to create a vibrant community within  long-term care settings. 

Texas State Learning Community for Cognitive Disabilities

The Learning Community for Cognitive Disabilities is a collaboration between The Seaton Foundation and Texas State University. It was specifically designed to prepare students for a career in long-term care specializing in cognitive disabilities through education, training, research, and internship opportunities during their junior and senior year.

We are very proud to announce that Montana Holmes and Aaron Bonnette presented their white papers at the AAIDD Texas Conference in Houston, making them the first to graduate from the program .
